Contact Everworks

There is no contact form on this site, and there will not be one. Everworks collects nothing from readers, so the whole of its contact arrangement is an email address that reaches the publisher.

What this address is useful for

• Corrections. The most valuable messages this site receives. Name the page and the statement, and where possible the source that contradicts it; accepted corrections are applied and the page's review date is updated.
• Questions about the method. Why an attribute is recorded as unstated, why a figure does not appear, how a title came to be covered.
• Privacy requests. Access, correction or a complaint under the Australian Privacy Principles, as described in the privacy policy.
• Commercial enquiries. Including affiliate arrangements, which are answered on the same terms as the disclosure page describes: an arrangement buys a link and a profile written to the standard method, and nothing else.

What this address cannot help with

Everworks is not a game publisher, a support channel, a regulator or an adviser, and messages of these kinds cannot be answered usefully no matter how carefully they are written.

• Game accounts. Lost access, bans, purchases, refunds and technical faults are matters for the publisher of the game concerned. Everworks has no relationship with any publisher's support function and no access to any account.
• Individual legal or financial advice. Nothing on this site is advice of that kind, and an email cannot turn it into advice. The bodies listed on spending and classification are the appropriate destinations.
• Reporting scams or online harm. These need a body with statutory powers: Scamwatch, the Australian Cyber Security Centre or the eSafety Commissioner. Where there is an immediate risk to someone's safety, contact the police.
• Guest posts and link placements. Everworks does not publish contributed content or sell links within its pages.

What happens to a message you send

An email arrives in a mailbox controlled by the publisher and is read by the publisher. Whatever you put in it — your address, your name, anything else — is held only for as long as it takes to deal with the matter and then deleted, on the timetable set out in the privacy policy. Nothing is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. Nothing is passed to any game publisher or advertiser. There is no reason to include more personal information than the question requires, and it is better not to.

Replies are sent when there is something useful to say. A correction with a source attached is generally quickest, since it needs a check rather than a discussion.
